We haven’t used memory foam in the sleeping surface as the way you sink into it can make you hot, we instead used a pressure relieving foam on the top layer which cushions you but also allows the body to breath. Due to the manufacturing process any foam smells have been removed, as with most new products there can be a ‘new’ smell which will quickly disappear.

RUSO chooses to use EvoFoam in our mattresses to provide you with even greater levels of comfort that are cleaner and greener than ever before. EvoFoam is made using the world’s most advanced foam-making process, Variable Pressure Foaming (VPF) Technology.

Unlike traditional foam manufacturing, VPF technology does not use potentially harmful chemical additives as blowing agents to create the foam’s open cell structure. Yes, our sizes are normal Australian sizes designed to fit bedding sold in Australia.

This is more important than you might think, if your support system has dips or isn’t strong enough it will affect the mattress.  Ensure that the support surface is even, slats are no wider than 10cm apart and are strong enough for the job.

We have a showroom in Perth due to it’s remoteness, but wherever you are in the country you will still get 100 nights to fall in love with the RUSO mattress.

All you need to do is rotate the mattress 180 degrees. I’ve always done this each time I change the sheets, but then I am a bit OCD!

If you are comparing price, imported mattresses are nearly always cheaper.  If you are looking at quality, we could have got our mattress made abroad except they don’t manufacture to the same high quality and consistency.  We chose to have our mattress made in Australia using materials which are better for you and the environment and will also last.  It also means that your mattress is made for you and dispatched the same day, not sat in a container for weeks and than stored in a warehouse waiting for you to order.

We include a handy safety cutter to assist you in unpacking your RUSO mattress and a few guidelines to help you make the most of your new purchase.

IMPORTANT: The safety cutter incorporates a sharp blade, so handle with care to avoid any injury and keep out of the reach of infants and children. Please also dispose of all packaging sensibly, recycling where possible. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep all plastic bags away from infants and children.

Your RUSO mattress has been compressed, folded and rolled at our factory for fast and easy delivery. Two people may be needed to carry out the instructions provided.

Lay the box on its side and slide the RUSO mattress out. Position the rolled mattress on the side edge of the bed base, close to the headboard. Using the safety cutter carefully cut through the outer wrapping, alongside the seal and excess flap. Unroll the mattress across the length of the bed.

Remove the plastic cover by running the safety cutter around the perimeter of the mattress. Please ensure the mattress is the right side up.

We don’t, but we will happily work with your shippers to arrange delivery to them. Please check first that the mattress sizes are the same. The 100 night guarantee and our product warranty will not be valid.

Once the mattress has been unboxed and opened you can’t put it back.

The best way to find out just how comfortable a mattress is, is to sleep on it, you can’t do this is a showroom. This is why you are able to try the mattress in your own home for up to 100 nights, if within this time you haven’t fallen in love with the mattress we will collect it and refund all your money.

As you have the local knowledge we ask if you know of a local charity who would benefit from your un-wanted mattress, once we have been notified of the collection we will issue a full refund.

We always recommend a good mattress protector which can be washed.

There’s every chance that your old mattress wouldn’t have been giving you the support you deserve, it can take up to a month for your body and muscles to get used to be supported correctly, this is why we offer the 100 night money back guarantee.

The core of the mattress cannot be washed or dry-cleaned. If the mattress becomes soiled, spot clean with warm water and a mild detergent only. Allow the mattress to air dry out of direct sunlight.

We have carried out rigorous testing which is why we confidently offer a 10 year warranty. Over time, your body may create a natural impression in the high quality mattress core. This is known as settlement and is perfectly normal, think of it as your mattress getting to know you.

Be sure to use a sturdy, high-quality bed frame. If it’s a queen or king size set, make sure your frame has the strong centre support and center support legs that will prevent the mattress from bowing or dipping in the middle. Also a good ensemble base is fine to put your new mattress onto.

Rotate your mattress regularly once a week for the first two or three months and monthly thereafter. Lift by putting your hand underneath the mattress to give it adequate support when turning.
